Business Profile

Our Services.... South Tyne Drilling use continuous flight augers to drill gas monitoring and/or leachate boreholes through landfill. These boreholes are drilled at 200mm, 300mm or 350 mm diameter, to depths of up to 30 metres. Once the borehole is drilled, pipe will be installed inside the borehole and then sealed using bentonite and gravel. This is all completed to the clients specifications. The borehole is then completely prepared to be connected to a gas system. All of our drilling rigs are mounted onto tracks. This enables us to access areas other rigs couldn't and also reduces the need for platforms to be built to support our rigs.
